Free bee hand embroidery pattern4/15/2024 ![]() as I got my 2 zippers on sale at Wawak.Not bad,uh?-Toogie.I have added the link,but be sure to get ALL the pdf files.Pattern for sm in one,lg another,instructions another,etc.I also,stipple/free hand motion quilted my print fabric.I was glad for the style of valance,because when I ripped the tacking out where it was brought up,it gave me a lot wider piece of fabric. I know one was still folded,like from the factory,never opened up.The one I used never looked used,but it had been unfolded.I have enough left to make a smaller one or some wristlets.I just washed and dried before I cut it out.The denim is jeans, left from my denim quilt stach.(I see I need to mist the blue marks out, where I marked it for sewing-lol) The rectangle rings are also re-cycled, from an old discarded purse.I am sure I made it for less than $5. The zip pocket one the opposite inside, was included in the directions.I also wanted to say,the fabric is recycled Waverly valances,I bought at a Thrift shop 2 for $5. It turned out fabulous! That is the wonderful thing about embroidery, it’s almost impossible to ruin.This is a purse/bag, I just finished.It is called The Wavy Top Tote by Bethany Rapp, a Sweet Bee Creations pattern.It was a free PDF file and comes in 2 sizes.I made the larger size.I also added the inside divided 3 pockets, on one side of lining. ![]() I couldn’t figure out if a long stitch to fill it in would be better, but I settled on a diagonal satin stitch, which looks much better. Use three threads to work the satin stitch across the filled honeycombs, and to fill in the letters. Backstitch all the outlines on the bees, honeycomb and letters using 2 threads. This pattern requires only backstitches and satin stitches, which are very quite simple. You still need to treat it gingerly, the pencil can be wiped away and fade if you handle it too much. Be sure it’s taped on all sides and is taut, so it doesn’t move while you are transferring the pattern.įrom here, you should be able to see your pattern clearly enough to trace it onto you fabric.
